We went to the Giants of Rock weekend which was an excellent venue however virtually every band had sound issues. This was corrected in due course but unnecessary at an event of this type. Sometimes there was too much Base, other times we couldn't hear the vocals.The chalet was lovely and clean and the food excellent!
Here for a music weekend and found the facilities really good. Mainly self-catered in the apartment but there are lots of food outlets around if you want to eat out. The chips smelt rather tempting! Bars aplenty and the musical entertainment was brilliant...well worth a trip!
Would highly recommend to anyone, only visited a number of times for the New Year's 3 night stay & it's absolutely awesome. Always something good on act wise, quality entertainment, fairground which is free as in with price, cinema on site, food outlets everywhere, from morning to night the schedule is brilliant for all, children & adults.Too much quality things to do to mention, a must try for any family.
This place is great. My 5yr old daughter loves it. The redcoats are great with the kids. The queues are long the food is good and the ticket machines are addictive. So make sure you save penny's for this visit. Overall it's a fun packed holiday.
I had a Monday to Friday Xmas break here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were amazing, very helpful, polite and outgoing. We paid 80 each for the 2 bedroom apartment with breakfast and evening meal included which was very good. Eat as much as you want, go up and refill your plates as many times as you like.We all loved it there and will definitely be back.
