Autohaus has previously modified our existing VW T5, now passed to our Son and has now supplied a bespoke Knighton campervan. Their quality and attention to detail has been exemplary, Since the Knighton was bespoke we have had many interchanges finalising our requirements. The customer care has been marvellous. Paid 300 to have my light fittings changed yet stupidly no light switch was fitted, meaning that in order to run anything on my 12 volt system (run the tap, have my heating on, flush the toilet, run my fridge or charge anything from the 12 volt sockets) then my lights have to be on! So my lights have to be on 24/7. They will not fix there issue without additional payment, so I will now have to take this somewhere else to be sorted, & pay again. This is the email I just received from the managing director: I have just seen your review which I will be replying to, Lucky we dont get Customer like you very often, thank god.I paid over 500 to add on a warrantee & I advised them on the handover that they had fitted the lights that I specifically said that I DIDNT want. To not fit a light switch in order to turn the lights off without switching everything else off is ridiculous. What a waste of 300 paid to get the lights replaced.
We had excellent customer service during the conversion process of our van, we dealt with Chris who was very professional, patient of my wife's many questions and helpful. The quality of the workmanship lives up to our expectations, having previously viewed an Autohaus conversion more locally we liked what we saw and decided it was worth travelling from Sheffield for.Thankyou!
