Fascinating hotel. A training academy for young people with learning disability. They help prepare meals, serve tables, service the rooms to prepare then for employment in the hospitality industry. I had spacious room overlooking the seafront, nicely furnished and comfortable. Breakfasts were basic but nicely presented.
Foxes is a quaint, traditional hotel which occupies a great position on Minehead Esplanade and has lovely views over the Bristol Channel. The hotel is a training centre for young people with learning disabilities who spend three years training and learning the skills required for jobs in the hospitality sector. We stayed for a night in October and loved the service and cleanliness. The staff are wonderfully attentive, especially the hard working trainees. The rooms are well furnished and very clean. Our room (Gorse) had a double aspect and fine views over the beach.We highly recommend Foxes Hotel and we will be staying again in the near future.
We stayed at the Foxes Hotel for a week and it is one of the best places we have ever been. All the staff and management were first class,they could not be more helpful and nice.The food was excellent,the rooms large clean and with lovely sea views.The hotel is part of Foxes Academy and lot of the staff are youngsters with learning difficulties,they were all very good and it is nice to see them getting the chance to work..I think Foxes should be given a Five Star rating.
Foxes hotel is an amazing place to visit. It is run as a training hotel for young adults with learning difficulties. These young people are instrumental in supplying your tea, coffee, meals (cooked and served). They prepare your rooms, making beds and cleaning.It is a well run, happy place to visit. Immaculately clean and very comfortable. Beautifully decorated throughout.
