Very nice place with an interesting history
This is a local attraction in Dunster and when you enter it ok nothing going on but you feel apart of bygone times . Spent time exploring , many places to drink and eat but we tried 3rd time the cobblestones cafe restaurant absolute treat every thing is just perfect food is fresh and you can taste the chefs excellence best we ever had .
Dunster is beautiful
The old yarn market of Dunster, many of the timbers are hundreds of years old, the original structure dating to c.1607 and rebuilt in 1647.Curiously the later day replaced timbers are showing woodworm where as the older timbers dont.This is because the trees used in the original build were of great age as compared to todays trees that are felled, woodworm dont like inner old growth hard woods, only the softer newer growth.
Always visiti here on the way to Devon. Lovely place to visit. Big push and display car park. Historical and plenty of gift shops.
