One of the top restaurants I have ever enjoyed eating at . Totally recommended.
We were a table of 7 and were running half an hour late, I called in advance to apologize and was reassured it was fine.As soon as we entered the warm and friendly greeting we received made us feel very welcome and relaxed. I believe the chef is award winning and I can honestly say it was the best lamb roast I've ever had. The staff were attentive, not introsive and the setting for the restaurant at the foot of the majestic castle is a memory not easily forgotten.Thank you, we were all very impressed and will return again soon!
The food was very good, however, I'm not keen on having two of the menu items cancelled off before we got to order. Especially as one of them was a solid favourite. That said, the staff were excellent, attentive, friendly and the overall quality of the meal was solid. I'd reccomend eating here if you are in the area.
