Excellent vets. I think that sometimes vets try to upsell treatments by making the owner feel guilty, even if the treatment is not really in the best interest of the animal. White lodge are not like this at all! They are very caring and great with our animals, but they are also practical. Our kitten had a broken toe, the vet could of tried to make us spend lots of money on surgery to correct it, as a caring owner if a vet recommended it I would of considered this. Instead the vet at White lodge talked through all the options and said that honestly, the best thing to do was limit the cats movement as much as practical by keeping her indoors for a few weeks, and the toe would heal naturally. They told us it wouldn't be perfect, however it would be much less stressful than surgery, and make practically no difference to the cats quality of life.This honest and practical advice is why I rate White lodge so highly. I doubt we will ever go anywhere else

Took dogs for jabs and were well looked after
Would seriously not recommend this vet if you find an injured creature. Very self-righteous, rude and in my opinion inhumane. Simple. I'd recommend seeking help further out like a veterinary clinic in Taunton or elsewhere.
