Giants of Rock attended for the third year running. For less than 100 a weekends accommodation and I watched 15 bands. Great value. Accommodation is basic but clean and well maintained. For about another 100 the premium dining package is a must, lovely breakfast and evening meal for three days is a bargain. Costs less than a festival, saw not bands got fed and didn't have to sleep in a muddy tent, Butlins is the way forward for festivals.
It's a lovely place to sleep if your interested in staying in Butlins campsite. I highly recommend it.
There is a lot of space that you can walk around, my grandchildren loves Butlins we tend to take them around Halloween time. Minehead is not my cup of tea, we have tried it but we will be going back to Bognor as there is more going. The main hall is set out much better, there is no empty space there is a lot more going on under one roof. It is only our preference to which site we go but we will be going back to Bognor this year.
Friendly staff great weekend boyzone and supporting groups were awesome. Great food. Highly recommend an adult weekend
The lakeside chalet's are definitely worth it. We stayed for 4 nights and arrived in our chalet on the first day to find it lonely and clean and spacious.We were not directly on the lake which was perfect with two young children, we could just open the patio doors and let them run on the grass. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard daily and there was a ground keeper outside every day. It was quiet, peaceful and lovely to walk over the Easter and feed the ducks.As always, the entertainment, facilities and dining were fantastic. Another great holiday at Butlins! When we come again, it will be to stay in the chalet's.
