I absolutely love lake side caravans and always book here when staying in Butlins Minehead. There are many reasons for not booking with Butlins and the biggest is the price. Lake side caravans offer value for money while also being clean, accessable and having most things that you need already there. It's a great idea if you want to do self catering as well though don't buy the items from the shops on Butlins site, pop out to Lidl or morisons across the road. Lovely location and easy to book. Consistent contact and support along the way
