What a fantastic place!!
Lovely friendly campsite the children loved playing in the stream and seeing all the farm animals especially playing with the farm dog
One of the best campsites I have been to. Slap bang in some of the loveliest countryside in the south west. Good facilities on site. Showers, washing up, laundry, shop. Dog friendly. Open fires permitted in third field. Only downside (if you see it that way) is no mobile signal and poor internet connectivity via localised WiFi.
Lovely sight with some first class amenities. We went on a rainy Tuesday in early April. Camped and woke up to a ground frost! The family showers were wonderful and plenty of sinks for washing up. We arrived late in the evening having called ahead earlier that day. It was lambing week on the farm so were told to come at any time as there would be someone up all night. When you drive up to the farm down the lane go staring ahead upto the farm house and do not turn right up the hill as we did. There is a misleading sign on the gatepost which forests you to Westermill holiday cottages - this is not the camp site. Hopefully they will add a new sign to make this more obvious. Had a wonderful night here in the field. I think we stayed in the camper van field but there was no one else in the field the night night we stayed.
If you want to camp in a peaceful, rural location, this is for you. Took our 2 kids with 3 other families to camp in the 4th field. We were allowed to build a camp fire and the kids played continuously in the river or up on the hill.Closest shower block is cold water only, but the one near field one has hot water.Very good for what it is, would go again.
