From the first flurries of snow, to gorgeous sunshine, the river rope swings during the day to the log fires and shooting stars at night. A magical place to relax and enjoy on Exmoor. Thank you Jill and Oliver.

Lovely campsite that caters for all with 4 different fields to choose from. One of the fields you can still have a campfire, something that is getting extremely rare in the UK. Shower/toilet blocks are clean and water warm.

My first camping trip. Went with 4 of us and 8 dogs. Wonderful place, stunning views and walks. Very well cratered for and kept facilities. Can't wait to go again. Would recommend to everyone.

I stayed here recently with a group of friends. It was all our first time here, but we have camped together several times at other places. Wanting a change of scenery, we thought this campsite seemed a good choice.Certainly it is a pretty location, walks nearby, and good well kept facilities. Pricing was also reasonable I thought. Can't fault the campsite. There are plenty of rules and requests at the campsite of what to do and not to do, but all of these are fair and ensure everyone has a good time if they are respected.I was just severely disappointed the lady at reception spoke of my friend in a derogatory fashion in front of me and her friends on more than one occasion, and asked if I was dyslexic (who she labelled as "messy"), when I asked of her assistance finding the logs for the fire. Not a great first impression.UPDATE: In response to the campsite's reply, I said on arrival, that the surname on the online booking form had auto filled itself with the email address of the lady who booked, meaning it gave an erroneous surname. She had difficulty trying to get the form to behave otherwise. As a result, in every interaction I had (and my friends) with the lady at reception, she spoke in a derogatory fashion about the lady in my group who booked. So at one point said lady gave another name and heard the reception lady first hand talk about the booking person in a derogatory fashion, whilst not realising she was actually stood in front of her. I think when running a business, it IS a big deal to speak to and of your clients, with anything less than a respectful manner.

We had a really enjoyable week staying here. Quite a relaxed campsite - pitch up where you like (4 fields). Great facilities Inc. Drying room, washer, dryer and large, practical family shower room - makes such a difference when travelling with children! Friendly owners. Very much a working farm and that just added to the charm of the place. Yes geese poo around!! But you quickly get used to it and the geese are great fun waddling around the fields. Friendly, charming collies come and visit the fields in their spare time. Goats and chickens around too! Our daughter loved it. Great location too for exploring Exmoor.
